About the role

We are looking for experienced graduates to join our team as Investment Banking Consultants.  As a Vox Consultant, you will work on a variety of projects supporting our investment banking clients, both from our Vox Head Office and on client site (Belfast, London or New York).

The scope and nature of the projects on which you’ll work will vary according to client requirements and your particular skill set & experience. However, examples of duties/responsibilities on some projects include:

  • Supporting dynamic teams working on a wide range of projects, e.g. Brexit Readiness, Regulatory Change, Client Onboarding or Operational Change
  • Preparing management information and maintaining project trackers to ensure that projects remain on target
  • Client Outreach - liaising with high profile and institutional clients, researching their queries around new legislation and formulating suitable responses
  • Conducting Compliance and Onboarding checks, including KYC and Anti-Money Laundering
  • Working with legal documentation and negotiating contractual agreements with clients
  • Supporting operational change projects to improve the bank’s processes
  • Developing to become a Subject Matter Expert within an area of investment banking

What we are looking for

Candidates should Ideally have the following:


  • Degree educated in a Finance, Legal or STEM subject (minimum 2.1)


  • 1-3 years’ experience of working on investment banking projects, either directly for an investment bank, or working for a 3rd party providing consulting/outsourced services to an investment bank
  • Some experience of Project Management or Business Analysis would be an advantage but isn’t essential
  • Strong interest in building a career and becoming a Subject Matter Expert within Investment Banking

  • Our projects are typically carried out on client site in Belfast, London or, occasionally, New York.  We are looking for consultants who are comfortable working in Belfast, but who are also flexible if asked to relocate to other cities for extended periods.
